Police appeal for witness after man found in Stoke Newington Street dies

Detectives are appealing for witnesses and information after the death of a man found collapsed in Stoke Newington.

Vladyslaw Krupa, 48 of no fixed abode was taken to Royal London Hospital after being found collapsed in Manse Road N16 at 19.30hrs on Wednesday 12 October.

The Polish national was treated for head injuries, but died at 1:30 pm on Tuesday 18 October.

A post-mortem held earlier today (Saturday 22 October) at Poplar mortuary gave cause of death as head injuries.

The death is being treated as unexplained at this stage.

Detectives would like to speak to anyone who may have been in the area of Manse Road, on the evening of Wednesday 12 October.

It is unclear how Mr Krupa received his injuries and detectives need the public’s help to trace his steps before he collapsed in Manse Road.
